Wildlife

Coastal Animal Hospital is proud of our reputation on the Outer Banks for treating injured and orphaned native wildlife for no fee. The philosphy that we should use our God given gifts to help animals that cannot help themselves is shared by all of the doctors and staff at Coastal Animal Hospital.

Over the years we have cared for everything from small deer fawns, rabbits, opossums, snakes, turtles, a variety of birds from ospreys and gannets to the official animal of the Outer Banks -the gull! We would like to thank everyone who shares our love and passion for wild animals and who has generously donated to the Wildlife Fund to help us defray the costs of providing this free care.
