Herd Health
We offer herd testing for OPP in sheep and CAE in goats, testing for Johne's in both species. And, we offer annual Brucellosis and Tuberculosis testing for show and milking animals.

Coastal Animal Hospital also offers the same list of specialized procedures for equines as listed above, including ultrasonography for pregnancy detection and radiology for injured animals.

Camelids (Llamas and Alpacas)
We see the pet camelids as well as fiber producing animals and brood stock.

Wellness Exams
Exams include routine hoof care, annual vaccinations for Rabies, Clostridium C & D (over-eating disease), Tetanus. They also include worming and boosters for vitamin E and selenium to prevent white muscle disease. Plus, vaccination for rhinopneumonitis for camelids housed with equines. We evaluate body scores annually as obesity is such a problem in these animals.

Sickness Exams
Emergency coverage includes administration of intravenous fluids, treatment for meningeal worm, treatment for choke, heat stroke, overeating disease, polioencephalomalacia, listeriosis, and "failure to thrive" syndrome.

Surgery
Routine surgical castrations, fighting teeth trimming, growth removal, and microchip insertion.

We also treat Pigs and Cattle.
